Shakespeare held but shards of Aeschylus; Which of his jewels will Chronos claim jealous? From ancient accounts that dwell in his palace Comes their unfinished task passed to us Now, as witness to the dignity of Balous, We set down the meaning of the Syria Test.
As Syria again rises in revolt, a task critical to victory against the Axis falls to us.
Syria the Revealer is once again under assault. Many of its great lessons are all but lost outside of our movement. If not for us, Axis forces would erase what remains of its Truths, saving the regime from an existential peril unseen since 2013 and maybe ever.
But as the one who discovered the Syria Test, I know we can save the most dangerous Truth from subversion by Axis agents, thereby preventing our enmatrixation.
Axis forces warp or erase every stone of the Revolution’s foundation to nullify its liberatory potential. They know that if we are cut off from its Truths and learn only Axis lies about Syria, we will enter the path of false struggle and know only failure.
Axis agents have known wild success through Operation Obama and their claims about the existence of a “Syrian Civil War.” They also benefit from the rampant p*lestinianism and anodyne leftism of Syria activists, which removes Syria discourse further from Truth, to say nothing of the physical destruction of revolutionary forces.
Yet even if Axis revisionists erased all other Truths to emerge from Syria, they would fail if they could not ease the Syria Test. This is the greatest lesson Syria gives us, for as Syria is the key to the modern era, the Syria Test is the key to all other struggles.
As the discoverer of the Syria Test, the term has been wildly and deliberately misappropriated by the Syria Starter Pack and second-order crypto-collaborationist “anti-Axis” influencers.
The reasons for this deliberate subversion of the Syria Test by pseudoresistance forces are due to several factors, chiefly their rejection of the Science of Herrenvolk, their attendant sympathy for fascist humanitarianism, and their palestinianism. As many are right-observers and liberal newcomers to revolutionary struggle, they defer to the “more experienced” leftists among them, who chart an anti-SoH false path.
The Syria Test is a basic filter that determines whose opinions don’t matter. Those who did not immediately center Syria in 2011 have no understanding of the world they live in. They are fish unable to understand their bowl.
Few pass the Syria Test. Those not talking about Syria as the main front of the antifascist struggle in 2011 (or, more generously, now) can only be coincidentally correct about anything that occurred subsequently.
However, this is all the Syria Test states. But in politics, even such a basic guiding light is of immense value. There are no immutable laws and few reliable measures by which to evaluate the soundness of a worldview or strategy, especially when it regards choosing our next steps.
The Syria Test also provides us with a method of self-criticism. If we find ourselves agreeing with the analysis or suggestions of one who failed the Syria Test, we can reliably question their reasoning, assumptions, and their understood facts, especially if what they say conforms broadly with rightist narratives on the same subject.
The Syria Test is merely a minimum threshold, a first gate one must pass in order to have the potential to bring value to a conversation. Those who fail the Syria Test bring no value beyond the coincidental to the antifascist struggle, while those who pass it are not guaranteed to bring value.
However, despite the fact that I have explained this nuance inherent to the Syria Test to all Syria Starter Pack figures and “anti-Axis” influencers who have since popularized its usage, most have deliberately subverted the meaning to advance their own pro-Axis agendas and to deprive the Syria Test of its inherent power. At worst, these influencers nudge the Syria Test to support their kid-glove approach to the Axis.
The Syria Test subversionists have lied on numerous occasions about the nature of the Syria Test and my explanations of it. The subversionists often claim that I said one who passes the Syria Test is automatically correct on everything. They then cite some (typically rightist) extremist who says Assad Is Bad to undercut the value of the Syria Test, claiming that “just because someone got Syria right, it doesn’t mean they get everything right.”
As we can see, these are lies within lies. Never have I said that the Syria Test is merely acknowledging “Assad is Bad.” In fact, our entire project recognizes this is merely the low bar revisionists deliberately set as a gold standard in order to defuse the potential for a mass movement for intervention against Assad. Additionally, I never said that someone who passes the Syria Test is correct on anything, merely that anyone who fails it should be immediately discounted as compromised.
In the coming days, the Syria Starter Pack, Palhebakjis, and “anti-Axis” influencer revisionists are sure to once again promote their corruption of the Syria Test to subvert the new chapter of the Revolution.
The Axis is in great peril, and the agents of pseudoresistance know that the Syria Test is a key to victory. For that reason, they hope to misshape it just so that it fails us at the decisive moment.
The funny thing is that without exception, every single neocon/leftist/libhawk/p*lestinianist that appropriates the Free Syria movement and pretends to oppose Assad fails the Syria Test when you look closer at them.
