Good morning! Like many of you, I woke up today eagerly looking for footage of Ukrainians driving homo axis russoids into extinction. Let this be just the beginning!
Now that the vatnik entity is suffering its greatest defeat in 70 years, it’s worth taking stock of what has been achieved - and what we stand to lose.
It seems I’ve inadvertently created an alternate reality where Based Republicans have been bottled up in port, waiting to be unleashed against the Axis, but held back by self-deterring Axis Democrats who hamstring them with their cries of “there is no military solution!” as the Axis pursues one, due to their ongoing affair with Iran.
Nothing could be further from the truth. And in fact, there’s every indication that right now, our final destination is the wholesale extermination of the vatnik entity!
I was under the impression that everyone knew Republicans simply use Iran as a rhetorical cudgel against Democrats and actually have no real strategy against the regime, and even worse, have a long and documented history of crippling decisive action against it, so there was no need to address it and I could instead focus on the unrecognized threat: the Axis liberalism of Noahpinion and Anne Applebaum, which allies with Iran and demonizes Turkey and Erdogan, freedom’s heroic defenders.
Apparently not! So let’s review:
The decision not to strike Assad after the 2013 Ghouta chemical attack is the single most important event in modern history. This is the point of departure from which every subsequent event can be traced. In fact, this date is of such great and obvious consequence that we can refer to the years before it as Before Ghouta and the years after it as After Ghouta.
As we pass through the veil into 9 A.G., it is no coincidence that russoids are experiencing their greatest defeat precisely nine years after their greatest victory. The genius of Ukrainian mentats and the power of the eternal antifascist and original Woke Queen Elizabeth II, who departed in the ninth month of the ninth decade of her life, overwhelmed the Axis magicians’ blood sacrifice of Darya Dugina.
The question now is do we continue along the current path? Or is there another force out there, with a greater fighting spirit, who will issue the Axis the knockout blow?
I would argue, from bitter experience, for the current path. Of course, if a force appears tomorrow that wishes to transfer Ukraine a full nuclear arsenal or plunge us directly against r*ssia, I would support it in a heartbeat. Yet I have strong reason to believe that the current choice is between Team Biden’s open firehose of weapons with few conditions and an early, forced surrender.
To pre-emptively dispel any thought that I am suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome or that partisanship is clouding my judgment, let me say that Donald J. Trump could very well have been the greatest president of all-time had he k-worded Assad. He could have shot me on 5th Avenue in July 2020 and I would have still thought so if he lit up Assad’s palace with a boatload of Tomahawks in April 2017.
And yet, he didn’t, and here we are! Trump decided to turn against his instincts and listen to his advisors, including many Ultra Based Anti-Iran Hawks Looking For Any Chance to Destroy the Iranian Regime, who again, like in 2013, found their reasons not to strike this death blow against Iran.
What, I wonder, would they do when they come upon another hinge of fate, if they were out back into power? Nikki Haley can’t move them alone.
There’s plenty of shilling by some Republicans and allies about how everything’s changed; they’re hopped up on Reagan’s Secret Sauce and ready to take the wheel from weak, appeasing, gutless Dems.
A brief overview of part of their record puts this to rest. This isn’t exhaustive, but it hits enough points.
While r*ssia will remain a threat for so long as it exists (necessitating its total destruction), Putin’s depredations began with Ichkeria, and the Georgian invasion was his first international foray, it was the Arab Spring and the fate of Gaddafi that set him on an international counterrevolutionary course.
From the very start of the Arab Spring, Republicans waged a Fabian struggle against the United States throwing its full support behind the revolutions. Libya was the trial run for the strategy they perfected with Syria.
With Libya, Republicans moved to defund military operations as they were ongoing. Later, as Libya began exporting the revolution, they launched the years-long Benghazi hearings to tie down Hillary Clinton, cut off Libyan weapons shipments to Syria, and undermine public support for rebel forces by calling them terrorists.
Which takes us to Syria, the departure point for today’s crises.
From the very start, Republicans demonized Syrian rebels as “extremists” and “terrorists” and moved to prevent the United States from fully supporting them. Restrictions on shipments to rebels originated here.
Dig, if you will, the picture: since February (which is also when the first Syrian protests happened), very vocal and active Representatives and Senators fight bitterly against arming Ukrainians succeeded in crimping arms supplies. For two years, you watch Ukrainians die in droves, knowing that r*ssoids will kill as many as needed to win while said opponents congratulate themselves. Then you’ll have some idea of what it was like back then.
Oh, and the first chlorine attacks are documented on Christmas 2023.
By the start of 2013, Operations Aleppo Volcano and Damascus Volcano, twin rebel offensives against Assad’s two main strongholds in Syria’s two largest cities, see urban airstrikes. The case for direct intervention had finally, after two years of careful, calculated moves by the regime, reached the threshold that would have typically triggered direct American intervention.
A threshold come and passed, thanks to Republicans.
Only in early 2013, once serious talk of intervention was suppressed and Assad rolled back initial rebel gains, a few Republicans trickled in with belated suggestions that, you know, maybe we should do something about Assad.
By this time, the main goal of Republican intransigence - the derailing Hillaryism’s ideological ascendance, was largely complete. During this period of aimlessness, Democrats’ ideological void would be filled by the Awokening with the murder of Trayvon Martin. With Syria intervention off the table, we could retreat to blissful isolation and think about how racist we are.
This happy new order, with Republicans increasingly noisy about Syria, was thrown into chaos with Assad’s sarin attack on Eastern Ghouta, breaking a rebel offensive.
At this decisive moment, Team Obama found they could not walk away from Syria. And, dutifully so, they began to collect the votes necessary for a strike. For all the complains about the supposed insularity of the Congressional Black Caucus, Obama secured their support for strikes against Assad, while Republicans stood opposed.
Quite a bit of work to do if he were faking it, as Republican Iran Hustlers maintain!
Sheer panic spread through the Assad regime, and electric hope surged among the opposition. Hundreds of MPs fled to Lebanon in the days before the expected attack and defections, which had dried up for over a year, suddenly started again, including, incredibly, in Assad’s Fourth Armored Division, the regime’s most loyal unit under the personal command of Assad’s brother.
Despite the sudden and ongoing regime collapse, as Assad relied entirely on his air force’s aircraft and intelligence services to maintain his rule in more ways than one, and that was about to be destroyed, every Ultra-Mega Trust Us We’re Actually Going to Destroy Iran Not Those Appeaser Democrats Republican luminary came out hard and fast against the precise action that would do just that:
Wow You' Can’t Even Believe How Hawkish He Is Mega Hawk Marco Rubio released a statement and video of real and totally not made-up reasons why we need to let Assad and Iran continue bombing, gassing, raping, and murdering Syrians that dwarfed the “Syria’s formidable air defenses” line.
Anti-Axis Crusader Ron DeSantis trotted out the very real and also not made-up “the rebels are Al Qaeda” line, which was obviously false to anyone who actually knew about Syria back then but not to the rubes who would just see this in passing or late-comers who would only consult the historical record and view it with their attendant biases and outsize view of the later role of Daesh.
Mitch McConnell, who managed to, word for word, contradict his earlier call for intervention against Milosevic in favor of keeping Assad in power (obviously only for the most hawkish reasons you can possibly imagine).
Ted “Tie Me to a Missile and Fire Me at Tehran” Cruz came out in strident Cruz Missile fashion against any strike against Assad with a full-blown op-ed in the Washington Post. I’m sure his Iran Hustler right-hand man Omri Ceren has some obviously contrived handwaving that explains why this was actually brilliant if you ever press him, but anyway, as ever, Obama!
And much, much more. McCain and Graham, who were highly favorable toward strikes, are retconned as representative of mainstream Republican thought at the time, and not outriders that were, even then, marginalized isolated by their own party, whose influence was greatly exaggerated by media.
Romney, who correctly identified the vatnik entity as the chief threat in 2012 and the ambitions of Iran, and personally supported strikes on Assad, still could not marshal support in his own party for them (unlike Hillary Clinton in 2016, who campaigned on a no-fly zone).
Of course, the true intent of the Republican post-Ghouta media blitz which was to create a paper trail that could be consulted once the dust settled and the bodies were buried. People who weren’t there in 2011 and 2012 could remember the later inevitable extremist attacks, and, ex post facto, project scenes of ISIS and associated groups onto the years of 2011-2013, when they did not exist. Then the ultra-based Iran Hawks could claim they were actually right and wise in their restraint, or, perhaps more insidiously, had “changed,” despite the fact that all Syria hands knew in 2013 that these excuses were obvious Assadist propaganda with no basis in reality.
Of course, those high on Republicope think this is all revisionism, even as they live, not even in an alternate reality, but a wholly fabricated one (I can’t even be mad!) where Republicans were raring to go and it was just Obama holding them back.
Maybe they just need to hear all of this from one of their fellow conservatives, who of course, sees the decision to preserve Assad as a good thing - because nothing says “family values” and “pro-life” like ensuring Assad’s shabiha can keep raping and murdering little kids and shooting pregnant mothers.
If you’ve liked the show this far, you’ll love what the Trad World Order holds!
Of course, as anyone with even a basic knowledge of Iran would know, toppling Assad would deprive Iran of a historic ally and cut Hezbollah off from life support (as it is entirely dependent on Iran and only has enough gas in the tank for one war against Israel), Lebanon’s banking system, which is critical to Iran’s money laundering operations.
Syria and Lebanon could then be integrated into the wider Mediterranean economy, which would further limit Iran’s ambitions in Iraq, and also keep the vatnik entity from its inevitable entry into Syria, as was obvious even before the Revolution, which it would then use as a launchpad for further regional expansion (under Iran hawks).
But surely Republicans later acquitted themselves in Syria?
Sorry sweaty - that’s still a no.
As everyone with even a passing knowledge of the Syrian Revolution’s military history (the term “the Syrian Civil War” is fascist, as you will notice once you start looking at the differences between communities and sources that refer to it as a revolution or a civil war) knows, the regime suffered the vast majority of its casualties from 2011 to early 2017, with casualties suffering a steep decline until a brief spike when Turkey saved the remainder of Free Syria from extermination.
At the low end, from 2011 to 2016, the regime lost around 110,000 fighters, including thousands of Iranian militia members, many of whom went uncounted.
But those are rookie numbers compared to those by the ultra-based super anti-Iran megahawk Republicans, right?
Actually, regime deaths fell off a cliff once the Iran Hawks (TM) took power because Trumps’s very first act in Syria was to cut off weapons shipments to the Southern Front, leading much of the region, save for some heroic holdouts, to quickly fall after an Iranian-led assault in 2017.
Which, by the way, finally brought Iran to Israel’s eastern border, creating and arc all the way north to Hezbollah country. But that doesn’t matter, because Republicans “support” Israel more than any other force on Earth does. They recognized Israel’s capital as Jerusalem! Which of course will stop the Iranian nuclear tunnel truck bombs from coming over. Because CRT!
Of course, the ultra-based Iran Hawks (TM) never restored weapons shipments later in the Administration when their shills maintain they took the wheel. Predictably, rebel death ratios, which before stood at around 1:1.2 to regime losses for the duration of the Revolution, an incredible achievement given the regime’s advantages, skyrocketed in the regime’s favor.
In other words, sorry Republican Iran Hustlers - the Alawite Annihilator did it better!
Obama The Community Organizer understood the regime isn’t planes or tanks (even though he ensured rebels could destroy hundreds of the former and thousands of the latter in the region’s largest tank fleet, which now can’t be shipped to rearm the vatnik entity against Ukraine), but people.
Northern Syria remains liberated today because the very fabric of the regime, its network of informants and operatives, was utterly destroyed.
It was under the hyper-based Iran hawks that we saw the largest mass displacements of the entire Revolution as the regime closed in on the North. Yes, Trump stopped a previous offensive against greater Idlib with a word at a conference, but that was then Iranian forces were clearly part of the push. But once Iranian forces were on the sidelines of a new offensive, the Iran Hawks (TM) saw no problem.
That Hezbollah and Iranian militias later joined was, of course, Actually Good, as the Iran Hustlers would have us believe, because "CRT” and “they’ll trans your kids.”
This all makes sense in the Republican imaginary. Any Republican strategy to counter Iran works around the red line of Arab (or whatever decolonized identity current Arabs later adopt) democracy. Beyond that, the facts of Republicans on Iran (and the Axis more broadly) are subsumed to the exigencies of their domestic agenda.
Hence the baroque maneuvers to restore Assad in Syria yet to keep him isolated rather than topple him altogether, to let the vatnik entity take over half of Libya to install its own puppet with ur-Based Ultra Iran and r*ssia Hawk (TM) John Bolton’s blessing, and place all hopes countering Iran on the region’s royal families (hero-prince MBS aside).
Turkey and Israel are the sole reasons why reactionary forces didn’t full extinguish the remnants of the Arab Spring.
Ironically, it was Iran Hawk (TM) Mike Pompeo’s Greek wife who finally ensured sanctions would be placed on Turkey for something Greece already did with its own S-300 battery, despite all the rumblings by Democrats against the besieged Republic (now sadly directed at person of color and climate refugee Dr. Oz Mehmet in defense of the violent racist and white supremacist Berniebro John Fetterman).
As we know, Turkey later went on to utterly shred Hezbollah and other Iranian militias in early 2020 and prevented a full Putin-Assad-Iran takeover of Syria.
And where was Greece in all of this? Keeping Assad afloat with phosphate purchases, and now serving as the key transit point for russoid oil and conducting acts of aggression against a NATO ally with its russoid missiles, which Are Good, Actually, while it violates its own island agreements with Turkey,
As ever, Greeks and Armenians are working hand-in-hand to ensure the United States is compromised by Axis force. Yet it was not only Adam Schiff, but the Iran Hawks (TM) who moved to restrain Great Azerbaijan from its heroic liberation war, which, by the way, cuts off Iran from its drug running operations through Armenia.
Even when we move the focus to Iran itself, we see the Republicans come up short.
Apologists will claim that the Iran Hustlers are ignoring the sideshows and focusing squarely on Iran, and therefore the Axis, with Maximum Pressure (TM). Rather than cut off Iran’s vulnerable empire at its weakest points, why not take the battering ram to Iran itself?
Yet marketing is not reality. Maximum Pressure (TM) relies on three (wrong) assumptions:
That Iran’s regime can be deterred and contained
That inconsistent one-off attacks like that against Soleimani are deterrents
That a revolution induced by economic deprivation will topple the regime
To the first, there is no “deterring” or “containing” Iran, no matter how much Joel Rayburn tries to shill it. Joey Ray-Bans knows Iran has spent forty years exporting the revolution and has never taken a step back. Even though Saddam was never their real enemy, contrary to pop geopolitics, not even half a million dead could stop them (Saddam sought an alliance with Iran against the United States and Israel, in his mind, and was never their sworn enemy, as he used the fourth-largest army in the world to annex American ally Kuwait for a literal meme reason of “slant drilling” rather than claim his spoils of war from a defeated international pariah).
The Islamic Revolution could be reduced to a someone with a butter knife and it would still push forward. There is no deterring or containing, only k-wording it.
To that second point, Maximum Pressure (TM) has no desire to k-word Iranian forces at the rate necessary. Their plan is to simply add some sanctions and let the tape run.
As Maximum Pressure (TM) would have you forget, they blinked when Iran challenged them after Soleimani’s elimination, when Iran deliberately shot down a Ukrainian passenger plane and launched a direct attack against the United States at Al-Assad airbase in Iraq, which killed numerous Iraqis and injured over 100 USians.
If “de-escalating” such an open, brazen attack doesn’t embolden Iran, what does?
Instead, Maximum Pressure was quick to scamper away and remind people how terrible Obama was on Iran because he decided to talk to them as he launched Stuxnet against their nuclear programme, the largest industrial cyberattack in history, and systematically destroyed the military power of their key ally, Assad.
And as to Iran’s nuclear programme itself, there’s plenty of editorializing about the nature of the talks. According to the Iran hustlers, Iran is the only one capable of weaponized negotiations. Hapless Democrats are the ones being taken for a ride, and they looped r*ssia in to the latest round of talks to put a damper on Ukraine!
So what does it mean when russia, as Iran’s guarantor, is brought to the point of collapse on the battlefield during these very talks?
That is not surrender - that’s breaking the don’s kneecaps in front of the capo.
And that’s to say nothing of the likely nuclear project Assad and Iran pursued in the Qusayr region, which the Ultra-Uber Iran Hawks have never bothered to explore, lest they empower democratic forces and not one of the region’s pliable autocrats.
The Battle of Qusayr was the first major deployment of Hezbollah and Iranian forces in the Syrian Revolution outside of urban areas. At the time, it was believed the urgency of this battle was due to the need to secure the regime’s spine - yet that also makes it the ideal location for a nuclear facility.
Of course, the Super Iran Hawks Who Are Going to End the Regime And Aren’t Just Using Iran as Emotional Blackmail never put these together (or, likely, did and never acted on it), because their Axis rhetoric is entirely rhetorical.
So what does the future hold with the ultra hawks at the wheel? We have some idea.
DeSantis’ aide-de-camp Christine Pushaw, who informs his own foreign policy, spent the beginning of the new russian invasion calling the Azov Battalion Neo-Nazis (which she still does) and did so as Azovstal fell in a final send-off to its heroic defenders while cavorting with Axis operative Glenn Greenwald - an effort absolutely not at all similar to Republican efforts in 2011 and 2012 to undermine Syrian rebels by calling them Al Qaeda, which didn’t even exist in among rebels at the time.
So as Ukraine sweeps out the vatniks, keep in mind that victory can still be pried finger by finger from their grasp, just as it was for rebels after the Battle of Idlib. All of the great victories and heroes could be erased, one by one, under the slow, inexorable creep of russoid artillery, one day at a time, year after year, until nothing is left but Twitter accounts that stopped updating after their users died or went missing, dead links to websites that didn’t get archived, and hard drives you never sorted.
The process is slow and painful.
Trust me. I’ve seen it all before.
brilliant, as always!
GO OUTSIDE. GO TO THERAPY. PLEASE.
